Regan grew up in Worcester, South Africa, where he completed his secondary school education in 1993. He moved to Namibia in 1999 where he was employed for eight years as a professional test driver for Volkswagen and Audi. This earned him valuable experience where he became an exceptionally good driver, and he also got to know Namibia and its stunning scenery and vistas intimately as he traversed its extensive road network.

This sparked his keen interest in nature and conservation and fuelled his growing passion to be a professional guide. In 2007 he started working for Wilderness Safaris at Desert Rhino Camp, and then moved to Damaraland Camp and more recently, Ongava Game Reserve near Etosha National Park.

Regan was recently promoted to Explorations Guide, leading high-end tours across the country and through the lodges of Namibia. His passion for the outdoors and the satisfaction he gets from introducing Namibia and her wildlife to guests has clearly confirmed that his decision for a career change was the right one.
