Keostegile Setabosha known to guests and staff as Sam has worked in the safari industry nearly his whole life. Sam comes from a nearby community village Seronga and spent his childhood in the Vumbura area.

Sam began in the safari industry as a young lad as a general helper in camps but decided early on that he wanted to climb the ladder and become a guide. Promoted from general help, Sam worked as a chef in camps while in his spare time studied for his guides licence. Soon after passing his exams he moved on to mobile safaris for a number of years before joining Wilderness Safaris in 2001 at Xigeria Camp.

It was not long before Sam returned to the Kwedi Concession, the area which he spent many of his younger years and began work at little Vumbura. Sam is a now a qualified walking guide, his wealth of knowledge and passion for his job and the concession makes for a fantastic guide recipe and he loves to teach people about the area he is so proud of.
