Climate and Landscape
October marks the official beginning of summer, though in Namibia, spring and autumn don’t really exist as separate seasons, and winter is only one month long!

There were a lot of dust storms on the Kulala Wilderness Reserve but then the area received its first rains of the season – so much so, the Aub River actually flowed.

Guest Comments
“I couldn’t be happier with Kulala's staff and accommodations. Love how the camp is laid out and the view from every building is incredible. The food options were perfect and exceptional. The day's activities were a perfect pace where one could venture out on safari, return for lunch, maybe rest up, swim, nap, play board games and off again for another adventure in the desert. Big bonus, when staff sang and dance for us, Kulala will be highly recommended. Thank you so much...” – Kulala Desert Lodge

“Nowhere on earth can even compare to what we have seen these past two days. The entire experience was amazing.” – Little Kulala
