We are slowly moving out of the winter months and into the spring. However at the beginning of August we had quite a few strong winds causing sand storms.
Wildlife and Landscape
While there's no doubt that there is less wildlife in the south than in many other areas of Namibia, what we do have here are amazing landscapes - from breathtaking sunsets to magical sunrises. However, now and then we get a surprise visitor on the Kulala Wilderness Reserve.
Around our waterhole in front Little Kulala's main area, we get animals like springbok, gemsbok (oryx), Cape fox and black-backed jackal.
We also have been seeing birds like the wickedly beautiful vultures, intriguing secretarybirds and interesting ostriches who stride across the veld.
The Little Kulala team has been working really hard to prepare amazing activities for our guests, anything from private room dinners to having a relaxing sundowner in front of the waterhole. Each and every activity is better and more personal than the last.
