This Journey takes the time to explore Botswana's contrasts and extremes in prime areas where few people travel. Experience a nostalgic camping / lodge safari that recreates the sense of a game-viewing adventure reminiscent of the times of the great African explorers. The Great Wilderness Journey takes time to experience the world-famous Victoria Falls on the Zambian side of the Zambezi River and explore Botswana's scenic northern areas: from the blue-green wetlands of the Okavango Delta to the diverse and wildlife-rich Linyanti and Chobe River systems. Accommodation includes a combination of Wilderness Safaris camps and fully serviced camping, all in private concession areas.

Brief Itinerary:
Day 1 Arrival in Livingstone, guided tour of The Victoria Falls and then road transfer to Toka Leya Camp, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Livingstone
Days 2, 3 & 4 Road transfer to Livingstone Airport, then fly to Kasane for a river boat cruise in the Chobe National Park, and then fly to Linyanti Discoverer Camp, Linyanti Concession
Days 5, 6 & 7 Fly to Khwai Discoverer Camp, Khwai Concession, north-eastern Okavango Delta
Days 8, 9 & 10 Fly to Jacana Camp or Xigera Camp, Moremi Game Reserve / Okavango Delta
Day 11 Fly to Maun Airport
