Southern Africa's seasons offer dynamic contrast. In summer, rains brings new life - plains game give birth, opportunistic predators take advantage, colourful migrant birds arrive, and flowers and fruits abound. In the winter months, major wetlands and rivers are lifelines to animals gripped in the epic struggle to survive. This safari is a spectacular year-round experience, exploring contrasting ecosystems and wildlife in three countries and four different habitats - from epic desert to lush wetland waterways, the tranquil Kwando River to the raging Victoria Falls. Beginning with the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, it moves on to the Okavango Delta, then Namibia's Caprivi Strip, ending near Livingstone and the stupendous Victoria Falls in Zambia.
