DumaTau Camp is located in
Botswana - near the source of the Savute Channel in the enormous Linyanti Concession.
DumaTau Camp translates into 'roar of the lion' in the local language, yet it enjoys its international renown from its high
elephant population density and the variety of wildlife. This is thanks to the waterways at
DumaTau Camp, to which herds of
elephant and a plethora of animals journey during the drier winter months. The
elephant has to be the primary attraction of
DumaTau Camp.

DumaTau means 'roar of the lion', yet it is its high concentrations of elephant and outstanding wildlife in general for which it is renowned. Located close to the source of the Savute Channel, in the vast Linyanti Concession in northern Botswana, waterways around DumaTau Camp lure a plethora of wildlife - particularly in the dry winter months.
