Little Vumbura, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Little Vumbura is a Classic Camp

An island camp with great game viewing

Little Vumbura is situated on a beautiful Okavango island in the same region as its sister camp, Vumbura Plains, where its six tented rooms are shaded by the canopy of an ancient Okavango Delta forest. Each tent is large and roomy and has en-suite facilities. A plunge pool and reading area are raised to provide a fine view over the floodplains and a star-deck leads off over the water from the dining area.

Highlights

  • The habitat mix means just about every species found in the Okavango can be seen
  • Excellent predator sightings are possible all year round
  • Epitomising island living, this intimate camp is accessible only by boat
