Odzala Wilderness Camps Wildlife

Odzala-Kokoua National Park, 13 600 sq. km of pristine rainforest, is renowned for primates, with eleven diurnal species recorded and more than 100 mammal species. These include western lowland gorilla and central Africa's highest density of chimpanzees. Forest elephant and forest buffalo are abundant. Antelope include bongo, sitatunga and black-fronted duiker. Red river hog, harnessed bushbuck, grey duiker and Peters' duiker are regularly seen in the M'boko and Lango areas. Some 450 bird species occur here.
