Ongava Lodge is situated close to Etosha National Park, Namibia's premier wildlife destination. Daily excursions provide good game viewing regardless of season in Etosha, while being in the private Ongava Game Reserve allows for exclusive game drives and other experiences.


Game drives on Ongava Game Reserve

Guided morning and afternoon/evening game drives take place on the 30 000 hectare private Ongava Game Reserve. Private vehicles can be booked at an extra cost (subject to availability).


Excursions into Etosha National Park

Full- or half-day guided morning and afternoon game drives in Etosha, Namibia’s prime savannah wilderness area (with a picnic); see the massive saltpan as well as the perennial springs that provide the water required by the Park’s high-density big game population.


Rhino tracking on Ongava Game Reserve

Ongava holds one of the largest rhino custodianships in the country and is one of the few private game reserves in southern Africa where guests can see both black and white rhino.
