Things to Do at Pafuri Camp

Activities at Pafuri revolve around game viewing, walks and cultural activities as well as historical and archaeological safaris.

Game Drives

Game drives are done in open 4 x 4 vehicles in the morning and in the afternoon into the early evening.

Walking Safaris

Exciting walking safaris take place in the concession and can last up to four hours.

Makuleke Village visits

Visits to Makuleke Village include traditional meal, dancing and a visit to the local sangoma (traditional healer).

Thulamela Visits

Visits to Thulamela, a 500-year-old rock-walled civilisation, opens up the palaeo-anthropological history of the area.
