Wildlife at The River Club

Although The River Club is not a traditional safari camp, elephant can often be seen in the Zambezi National Park and hippo are regularly seen in the river. The nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is home to an abundance of wildlife including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala and white rhino. There is rich birdlife too, including several sought-after species such as African finfoot, half-collared kingfisher, Schalow's turaco and seasonal sightings of African skimmer and rock pratincole.
