Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1
Day 1
Meet at the Lilongwe International Airport and transfer to Luwawa Forest Lodge in Luwawa Forest Reserve deep in the Viphya Mountains. Explore the plantation forest, impressive miombo woodland and indigenous forest pockets by foot or bicycle.
Days 2, 3 & 4
Days 2, 3 & 4
Scenic and cultural road transfer to Chelinda Lodge in the Nyika National Park, where you’ll discover Nyika Plateau, Malawi's most spectacular wilderness area. It boasts incredible Alp-like scenery and landscapes and harbours fascinating wildlife.
Days 5, 6 & 7
Days 5, 6 & 7
Transfer by road to Chintheche Inn on the central Lakeshore. Against the backdrop of the Viphya Mountains and patches of tropical rainforests, the white sandy beaches of Chintheche stretch for miles, broken only by small rocky outcrops.
Day 8
Day 8
After an early breakfast, a road transfer back to Lilongwe will see the end of your journey in time to connect with your onward flight connections.
