Wilderness Safaris operates camps and safaris in Botswana, Namibia, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Seychelles. From subtropical Malawi, to hyper-arid Namibia, the broad savannah mosaic of much of Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia, and the enormous variety of South Africa, the area covering the southern third of the African continent is hugely diverse and exciting.
But the countries in which we operate encompass not just biodiversity but also ethnicity, scenery, climate and many other aspects. The region, so easily encapsulated in the single term "southern Africa", is not readily categorised. It is simply Africa: a tapestry of complexity, contradiction and a celebration of life.
