Climate and Landscape
We had some good cloud cover here at Desert Rhino Camp this month and everyone expected a good rain storm, but it turned into a disappointing false hope.

Wildlife
The rhino sightings around camp and on drives were especially good, with Don’t Worry doing what he does best – being the dominant bull, but also posing for guest photos and not worrying.

Sightings of Nani and Nantes were also noteworthy.

Lions, small game and birds were seen from drives, with the trouble-makers (the spotted hyaena), as well as Kevin the jackal, seen in camp.

Camp News
A beautiful dinner set-up around the pool seemed to be greatly appreciated by our guests.

Staff News
Andreas is the new F&B manager at DRC… welcome to the tribe, Andreas!

Staff had the opportunity to go rhino tracking this month and rhino monitors, Jason, Johannes and Japies, were proud to be able to introduce the staff to their charges.

Guest Comments
