Climate and Landscape
A hot and dry Hoanib greeted guests this month – although the mornings are definitely cooler, a sure sign that winter is on its way.

Wildlife
Camp manager Clement Lawrence caught sight of the three young Floodplain Pride cubs drinking at the camp waterhole one night. He managed to photograph them too!

The Desert Lion Project website reports that our “Vanishing Kings” movie stars, the Five Musketeers, were seen together recently in the hills to the east of Tomakas.

Camp Activities
Coffee stops and sundowners were among the amazing ‘wows’ that our guests enjoyed out on drives from Hoanib this month.

Guest Comments
“Very well-appointed rooms – our most comfortable beds this holiday. Wish we had longer here. Friendly staff – we will never master the click language despite Kuku's efforts to teach us. It was also very interesting to see Theresa catching and checking the bats!”
