Maramani Eco-Club Teacher Orientation - Zimbabwe

Teachers from Zimbabwe’s Nottingham and Shashe Primary Schools joined Beatrice Ponela (Beit Bridge Rural District Council Campfire Coordinator) at the Children in the Wilderness Eco-Club workshop held in the community centre in Shashe Village, Maramani, Zimbabwe.

The five schools in the CITW Eco Club programme each received stationery and a CITW curriculum (with lesson plans) for CITW Eco-Clubs which have commenced. Topics covered include Respect, Writing a Letter of Appreciation and My Body – My World.

The teachers were delighted to be part of the Introductory workshop and each felt they had participated in some interesting activities and were looking forward to sharing them at their respective schools.
