Every year unmarked rhinos on the Ongava Reserve are darted and their ears notched for identification purposes. During this process, blood and other samples and measurements are taken. This year, some lucky guests had the opportunity to participate in the process.
Ongava Tented Camp was very busy with beautiful bush dinners: guests head out on an afternoon drive and expect to come back to camp. Instead they arrive at a candlelit bush dinner set up in the middle of nowhere.
During the last bush dinner, a white rhino stuck his head in to see what all the commotion was about!
Festus and Chrisma received the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence on behalf of Ongava Tented Camp.
