Climate and Landscape
The team at Serra Cafema reported hot and dusty days with lots of foggy mornings.

The Kunene River remains low and the guides have taken to walking the area with their guests, recording some spectacular sightings during October.

One which stands out was the sighting of a goliath heron captured by Gaylord Bezuidenhout.

At times, the Kunene River looks really inviting, belying the threat of crocodiles lurking beneath the tranquil waters.

Camp Activities
One of the most popular items on the Serra Cafema breakfast menu is the “Bogenfells” – an English muffin with a poached egg and hollandaise sauce accompanied by pan-fried mushrooms. Delicious!

Staff News
Serra Cafema took the top Lobster Ink training spots for Most Subjects Progressed, Most Involvement and Most Assessments Written. Well done, team!
