Luxurious and inimitable, Vumbura Plains seems to float on a sea of waving reeds situated as it is in the midst of a large floodplain. Home to a diverse mix of wildlife, due to variety of water and dry land habitats, water-loving lechwe can be seen splashing through the reeds, while rare sable antelope graze in the dry savannah in the distance.
