Wilderness is proud to be associated with Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious Readers’ Choice Awards, and hopes that the 2024 survey will not only encourage guests and travel partners to cast their votes for their favourite camps, but inspire them to start planning their next African adventure.
As a world leader in conservation and hospitality, these nominations are testament to Wilderness’ continued commitment to driving impactful tourism to Africa, in order to help protect the continent’s wilderness and wildlife, and enable responsible development in the countries and communities where we operate.
The following Wilderness camps have been nominated in the Best Resorts category:
Botswana:
Chitabe, DumaTau, Jacana, Jao, King’s Pool, Kwetsani, Mombo and Little Mombo, Pelo, Tubu Tree and Little Tubu, Qorokwe, Savuti, Vumbura Plains and Little Vumbura.
Namibia:
Desert Rhino Camp, Doro Nawas, Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp, Kulala Desert Lodge, Little Kulala and Serra Cafema.
Rwanda:
Bisate Lodge.
Zambia:
Busanga Bush Camp, Shumba and Toka Leya.
Zimbabwe:
Davison’s, Little Makalolo and Ruckomechi.
These awards are based solely on the nominations and votes of readers. Voting closes on 30 June 2024 and winners will be announced on the Condé Nast Traveler website and in the November 2024 issue of the magazine.
